Getting Creative at New Jersey Craft Shows

By Rick Amorey

The residents of New Jersey are a group of naturally talented people. A lot of inventions that are in use today are said to have come from Jersey. These include the FM radio, the electric powered train, and even the very symbol of great ideas, the light bulb. It's without a doubt that New Jersey will still move forward and continue to inspire awe in everyone with more innovative ideas as time goes by.

So it doesn't come as a surprise that the people in New Jersey will be enthusiastic about craft fairs and festivals. A lot of people are fond of attending and enjoying amazing works of art crafted by fellow artists and artisans. As it happens, New Jersey residents are some of the most talented craftspeople I have had the pleasure to meet.

Whether you're an artisan yourself, or will just go to craft shows to look and be inspired by others, you will find something of interest at New Jersey craft fairs. A casual search online will yield a plethora of information about upcoming fairs, as well as contact information for the event organizers, in the event that you're interested in a booth.

Or if you just want to attend to see the sights and have good clean fun, then you'll find the most convenient craft fair for you by inquiring about schedules from the organizers. But if it's a booth for your wares that you're interested in, throw in additional questions about booth packages and prices; what will you get with your registration? Will you get tables, chairs, and banners? How about electrical outlets? These are important to take note of, as most fairs will only give you limited access to some, or worse none, of these features.

Be proud of the creativity in New Jersey by being part of the different Craft Shows that happen around the State. Whether you're going as a spectator or for profit, you are always welcome to be here. You never know when you may be inspired by a craft and thus further the level of creativity in our State! - 15246
